L-shaped
The default for most apartment kitchens. It keeps the work triangle tight and leaves room to move.
U-shaped
Maximum counter and storage where the room allows three walls. Strong for large families.
Island
For open-plan villas where the kitchen is part of the living space and doubles as a serving counter.
Specification
What goes into the quote.
- Carcass
- BWP marine ply in wet zones, HDHMR elsewhere; edge-banded on all four sides.
- Shutters
- Acrylic, PU, laminate or membrane, chosen for how much the surface gets touched and cleaned.
- Hardware
- Soft-close hinges and channels from established brands, with the warranty terms written into your quote.
- Counter
- Granite, quartz or sintered stone, with a raised lip at the sink and a properly sealed backsplash joint.
- Internals
- Cutlery, bottle pull-out, corner units and tall unit planning agreed against what you actually store.
- Wardrobes
- Hinged or sliding, with internal drawers, hanging heights measured to your clothes, and profile lighting where wanted.
